Relaxed Paws
Personalized Pet Sitting Services
Overnight Care, Feedings, Walks & More!

From my upbringing around various animals (most especially fun loving dogs in the house), I have held a special place in my Heart for furry friends. This love affair continues today.

From my perspective, I know how stressful it can be to leave your beloved companion out of the warmth of your loving arms. This is what inspired me to offer my intention, attention and empathetic nature in the area of pet care. To relax the minds of my pet loving clients.

My choice to become a pet sitter has brought much peace and happiness. Not only because of the connection I make with the 'parents', but the connection I make in service to these living beings that, by nature, give immeasurably in their service to us!

KRISTINE'S BIO
I have grown up with various animals all my life. I have a huge soft spot for dogs and love caring for them. My beloved and I currently have a 4-year-old adopted rescue dog named Otto. He is a Schnauzer mix who is loving, very intelligent, active and draws a lot of attention for his cute 'mustache'. He is a perfect match for us and our lifestyle. He has brought deep joy to our hearts and we cannot imagine life without him.

Our other adopted dog (Daisy) lived with us from a puppy until her passing in Feb. 2014 at the age of 13. She was extremely loyal and wise. We miss her dearly, but are thankful she chose to live such a good, long, happy life with us as her parents.

In 1999, I volunteered for 3 months at a local pet training/boarding facility where I learned various training techniques, walked, fed and picked up after the dogs.

In 2004, I attended a service dog training program for a local non-profit organization. I fostered, trained and evaluated Promise (one of their chosen candidate dogs) for entry into their program. The requirements for any dog to make it as a Service Dog are quite strict as you can imagine. Only a small percentage ever make the cut. Unfortunately Promise did not make it into their program, but with their permission and without hesitation, I gladly adopted this magnificent animal (a Retriever mix). To me, my family, friends and co-workers he was known as the most gentle, intelligent, handsome and calm natured dogs around. I was honored to be his 'mom'. He was very stoic in his last days before his passing in 2011. I will be forever touched by the ease in which he offered his companionship.

I currently have regular pet sitting clients (references available upon request). They range from a black German Shepherd, two West Highland White Terriers, Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Border Collie mix, Boxer, Boston Terrier, Shih Tzu, French Bulldog and various other lovable mutts and several cats. In most cases I spend the night at the client's home where I feed, walk, pick up after, love on and care for the animal(s), as well as watch over the house. I also offer pet photography for those interested in capturing candid moments of their beloved pet!
